CrossSkins Pro is a more full-featured version of the CrossSkins program.

When I finish building CrossSkins Pro, it will be a shareware program. However, you are welcome to download and use the Beta version of CrossSkins Pro for free.

CrossSkins Pro supports most of the features found in PS: Crossword, including:

• Unlimited grid sizes
• Letter and word hints
• Scoring
• Optional reading passages
• Modifiable color schemes

Plus:

• Selectable, auto-highlighting Across and Down clue lists
• Customizable puzzle background graphics
• Sounds
• Nicer fonts

Planned stuff:

• Printing (blank, current state, and solved puzzles)
• Keyboard navigation
• Desktop version

The main difference between the current Beta and the future shareware version of CrossSkins Pro is printing. Plus, I'm working on a registration system to encourage folks to pay.

How does it work?

The Beta isn't crippled in any way. The only thing you'll have to put up with is a graphic that says "Beta Version". CrossSkins Pro works just like CrossSkins. Follow those instructions, and you shouldn't have any trouble.
